GRIEF

skins sloughed out of shivering suffering flesh
pain in its sharp extreme
strike my heart like sharpened bamboo
everytime
your voice breaths air from it's boxed contained

I want to claw out
that soul into existence
to scream that stale air into life
sobs hit under my rib cage
unexpectedly
any time it wishes
a syllable
an intonation
feel like asking
are you him
eh? ..are you him

in my mind I see
the bridge across
the dull dark river leaf-strewn
dead autumn leaves greying on planks
that knew thousands of footsteps
grief and sorrow, desolation, loneliness
from one side to the other
travelled through so many times
I don't know about You but certain aspects of nature ...truly have magical feel...like waterfalls etc...just instant
I miss you.
