how i envy you
driving across the plain
with no plan in mind
just driving
and sleeping
and seeing
how i envy you
being brave enough
to cross oceans
alone
so alone
but free
how i envy you
feeling self-assured
walking in the terminal
i can't
i hide
afraid
this one envy
it's something
I can't shake
it's forever inside
itching to get out
more than once a year

Travel takes a lot. Not just the desire to leave everything behind for a while. Of course you do not have to go very far to enjoy travelling....
