A Certain Farewell

Gilded rim of mornings moons
a glittering gem amongst faded starlight
floats upon magenta sea
give your  ghost like charm
in scythe bide sail
with all my dreams  attached

Luna lie to me again
for the light of the sun
blinds me
mere minutes away of life's escape
everything once more
shoved into my face

I worship the crater
calling on the crestfallen
as always I have need of You
shadow in life's added depth
and take me with you
to no longer burn in earth's kiln
to shed the crust of today's burn

I am wholly wrapped with want
for your silver light
let languish any requirement
of daylight's bark.

I upon a moonlight sail
to realms where we dance
upon gentle clouds of dream
to again hold hands
wishing upon trillion stars
to let fly together in bliss eternal

and in the sky
blaze Heart
holding to beloved Soul

If I had a flower
for every time I thought of you
I could walk in my garden forever
