Perpetually Enlightened
The equipoise of sagacious traits,
to the aged typically ascribed,
this young poet demonstrates
imbued before to this realm arrived
Such adroit wisdom and intellect acute,
ardent sensuality, kindness, poise, and grace
possessed by blossom who from bud did barely shoot
no follicle of gray, nor wrinkle on her face
Convinced she was my sensei, my friend
whilst traveling paths of a previous life
chronologies swapped start to end
her teachings
with words of encouragement rife
Once again appearing on my terrestrial stage
Goddess of poetry resumes guiding her pupil
epitome of beauty, personified sage
by her friendship I'm blessed
for her counsel I'm grateful

Wow, just an incredibly stunning offering to celebrate those that inspire you. I'm a lover of those $10 word choices and found them so fitting, enhancing my experience as a reader as well as the conveying of emotions as a whole (in my humble opinion).
