God's Law
Behold I see your loving face
In each person that walks on earth -
In every flower, every plant,
In everything that's had a birth.
In the lesser creatures of the world
That tremble in fear of man -
Though Your consciousness enlivens
Each creature of the land.
Dearest Pilgrim,
Please; harm not these lesser ones
Who have no court on earth
To register their just complaints,
Man's abuse of them, their hurts.
You may not be aware the law
That governs all God's keep -
And renders just and equal mandates,
As you sow so shall you reap.
So -
Be kind, compassionate, and sweet
To all creation along the way -
For this reckons most in God's court
When you face your judgement day.
In each person that walks on earth -
In every flower, every plant,
In everything that's had a birth.
In the lesser creatures of the world
That tremble in fear of man -
Though Your consciousness enlivens
Each creature of the land.
Dearest Pilgrim,
Please; harm not these lesser ones
Who have no court on earth
To register their just complaints,
Man's abuse of them, their hurts.
You may not be aware the law
That governs all God's keep -
And renders just and equal mandates,
As you sow so shall you reap.
So -
Be kind, compassionate, and sweet
To all creation along the way -
For this reckons most in God's court
When you face your judgement day.
