Silence=Self preservation on many levels. Turns out that wasn’t the best tack I could have used. Playing a bit of catch up now but your write lends the idea that I wasn’t the only one keeping mum.

Yes, there are children that learn silence and it's possible safety. To crawl into themselves in in an attempt to become invisible. Hahaha, these scars are hell to cover up although they're on the inside, nice piece

The worry that everytime i open my mouth i will be either Stupid or Incredibly Annoying to all of the representative "people" within earshot has been an incredibly hard habit to break.
Even worse, when i do talk, i'm so exuberant i practically shout. 😨😬😳🤫🤐 , 🙄 , 🤔🧐😤 , 😡🤬 , 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 . 🤷♀️🤭☺️. 🧎♀️

Thank you for your wonderful remarks. It seems there is always a down side to opening my mouth! Thank God I was given a talent for writing. It has been my salvation so to speak!

It seems like everyone has something to say all the time while almost no one listens these days. You can learn so much more by listening... I could definitely relate to this one and it is brilliantly written!
