My old, sweet refrain
Beckoning in the night
Wide awake with fright
Doesn't everyone do that?
Should I call that old number
Subdivide a little guilt
For the shame of love rebuilt
Doesn't everyone do that?
I watched his eyes do that thing again
Reaching for the wanted need
Should he paint it black or let it bleed?
Doesn't everyone do that?

Thank you! I want to do that. Sometimes I start to feel lyrical and rhythmic in my writing...more like song lyrics. And it feels like it should end on a certain vibe or note but when I posted this that honestly was my thought that I needed to go further with it. Thank you Kristina. You are a doll 💜
