Pulsar

I can't touch it.
It burns too hot.
Hot as the morning sun.
Sun steam boils the insides.
Insides melting.
Melting cartilage, veins, skin.
Skin waxy, holds a flame.
Flame flickers in the night.
Night sky full of sparkling light.
Light as a feather, your feet float.
Float your heart over here.
Here is where I will keep it safe.
Safe from hands that roam.
Roam around my tiny room.
Room with a view.
View of the rotating Pulsar.
