Chasing Dreams
School graduate: Certified Nursing Assistant
One year… It was a requirement prior to entering Nursing School
Associate Degree: Major Nursing/Minor Criminal Justice
Graduated with honors/dual degrees
Nurse in Philadelphia… the best years of my life
Graduated: Bachelor of Science Nursing- Summa Cum Laude (GPA-4.00)
Philadelphia Hospital: Critical Care/Trauma Charge Nurse Level III
Four Years
Selected/Hired as a salaried Director of Nursing-major accomplishment
Upper Eastside New York
Reentered College
Chasing a MSN (GPA-3.80)
2021-will graduate on time…yippy... Our Creator is Good… all the time
Future goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner (APRP- Mental Health)
Graduating, well hopefully 2022-2023
You can have all the various titles behind your name, just know this, it has not been easy, and I will be lying to say it has. It is a self-sacrifices one has to adjust to accepting and without any government grants, it's costly.. darn it's costly
Still to this day, I wished I had follow the legal system, and had become an attorney.
This road I am traveling is not the road I would have ventured, maybe that is why I am sticking it out to the end. You are never too old to continue to dream… so dream on
