what grows in the dark
beautifully outdone
they're shining out the sun

I wish I could swallow it whole
bliss be as it grew inside,
beautifully numb
because I'll be virtually gone...

the way the waves hit the sand
such a sweet romance,

a take and receive
I want to watch it drag me down deep
until the water is all I see...

because I want to be a part of something
bigger than me..

the shadows at night
the crawling and fight
scratches on the skin
viciously unseen
a bitter me
because I want to win this time...
