Image for the poem look what you make me do

look what you make me do

His features were much softer in sleep,
the lines that usually creased his brow replaced
by a youthful appearance.
He looked peaceful, almost like he was sculpted from marble.
Hovering above him, I take that moment in.
Wanting nothing more than to curl up into the curve of his body.
I take my chance and force the pod through the interstice of his ear.
blasting through the ear canal, the pod getting smaller,
being able to spear through the skull into his mind.
awestruck, I feast my eyes on the psychedelic view;
captivated, I start looking for the floating bubble “poems/memories”.
I enter the bubble, wiping the mystical from the windshield.
Waiting for you waken and rouse.
Sparks start flying everywhere like fireflies starting an engine.
The whole bubble lights up with color
and snippets of your point of view surround me.
And at that moment I am in nirvana.
Seeing art come to life, picking words to flow, magic being made.
And there I was, of sorts
A fly on the wall.
