Atlantis

Located just beyond the Pillars of Hercules, Atlantis was to be the city of the future. A floating island, actually, designed for the pleasures of the super rich by architects and engineers who would make Da Vinci proud. A floating island, with, underneath, attachment which made it possible for a few persons at a time to explore the sea life while quietly sitting abord ingenuous crafts. But this got to be much toooooo much for some gods who figured these people wanted to become - or thought they were greater then Zeus himself.  But the Oracles spoke in vain and nobody on the island heard the tsunami-like sounds getting louder by the minute.  In the end, Pride and Greed met their match and they all ended up at the bottom of the sea.  To this day, archeologists find remnants of what is left....
