Our birth certificates
did not come with the
guarantee that life would
be easy or we'd have smooth sailing.
If it did, in face of reality,
 it would be a lie,
Life from the day of birth
to the day of death is filled
with challenges, difficulties,
and setbacks of every description.
There are surprises, unknown,
and lingering questions of WHY?
As they step into our pathway
or seek to keep us awake at night,
we can CHOOSE TO:
Curse them,
Deny them,
Run from them,
Transfer them,
or FACE them.
In all cases, it is our choice
of attitude that leads to
victory or defeat.
My Guru once said:
"Two prisoners look
through prison bars,
one sees mud, the other
sees stars."
We choose where we look,
and what we see means to us.
