A Venomous Snake

He slithers slowly on the forest floor
Quietly he makes his way
Under the leaf litter
Frequently stopping
Stealthy, watching, looking for prey
Waiting, he flicks out his tongue
Testing the air
Always ready to strike
To flavor with venom
Wrapped around and intertwined
As they struggle
Then consume his victim
With the familiar taste of poison
Such is the man who cannot control
His lust
For as it has been said,
"A woman makes love to whom she chooses,
But a man has sex with whoever he can."
