TRAVELING LIGHT

EASY

I used to think it was
my business to travel
down life's road with the
burdens of others and
try to remedy them;
the burdens grew heavier.
Then one day in a mediation
session led by my Guru,
the dawn burst over the
horizon and the message
engraved on my soul:
LIGHTEN UP!
Let go of the
weight, baggage, misinformation,
and the solutions you have for people
who don't care.
Imagine a world, society
or person daring to let go
and travel light; letting
GO
IMAGINE letting go
of grudges,
petty jealousies,
hatreds,
excuses,
regrets,
retaliations,
fears,
lies,
prejudices,
all of which are prisons
keeping our souls from
freedom. So dare and
turn them loose and enjoy
the reality of contentment.
Never forget you can't fix yourself ...
how can you fix others.
