Midnight ride

I'm a man on a midnight ride
I'm asking where the devil will hide
My mind remembers the times I cried
It remembers the pain I felt inside

The sun will shine on a sunny day
Then night will come and it will fade away
So many things I want to say
I'm on my knees and ready to pray

Time will go on and you will find
That the whole time you were blind
You will hit replay and instant rewind
Remember your life in your mind

I'm a man on a midnight ride
I'm asking where the devil will hide
My mind remembers the times I cried
It remembers the pain I felt inside

They ask me the question
They give me a suggestion
They start teaching me a lesson
It's time to begin the session

The road is completely broken
The truth has finally been awoken
I threw in the well my token
My words have been spoken

It's an imminent danger
Who did we endanger
We better get the ranger
Find the baby in the manger

I'm a man on a midnight ride
I'm asking where the devil will hide
My mind remembers the times I cried
It remembers the pain I felt inside

So I keep on running and looking back
Before the night sky gets black
The train is on the railroad track
Go ahead put my death on the plaque

I'm a man on a midnight ride
I'm asking where the devil will hide
My mind remembers the time I cried
It remembers the pain I felt inside

I'm a man on a midnight ride
I'm asking where the devil will hide
My mind remembers the times I cried
It remembers the pain I felt inside
