EUROPE: PAST AND PRESENT
I'm sorry for those who have been
the greatest masters of the scene,
the Europeans, whom l love,
who were so wise and turned naive.
They had great strength for a long time,
from Ancient Greece to famous Rome,
to present times when their grand past
still has some force to make them last.
You had your power and strong hands.
Now, you need others for your deeds.
The others work just for themselves
and soon they'll throw you on the shelves.

I wonder if you'd be kind enough to tell me not only what the "scene" is that "the Europeans" were the greatest masters of, but also what Europeans are now naive about and, more importantly, to give me some precise examples of how Europeans have explicitly shown themselves to be lacking in experience, wisdom, or judgment.
I'd also like to know not only why you think you are qualified to make such an appraisal of Europeans and why anyone should accept it as true?
Cue the dodges of these questions and the posting of "reasons" for not answering them.

So .. you think that there's something in your "poem" that clearly shows that you have the qualifications to make the judgments that you make about Europeans or that demonstrates that readers (with understanding) should think that you do? Really?
But thanks for the unjustified and unsubstantiated ad hominem in your not so hidden claim that I do not have the "understanding" necessary to see what's in your submission and it's converse that what causes people to not see clearly what you say is never due to the way you write. At least you are true to form in making it in response to my questions to you.

I am going to answer this last point just to show you that it is in the poem, namely, "the Europeans, whom l love." Isn't it enough if l love someone to be interested in what happens to him?

But the issue isn't whom or what you are interested in. It's what qualifies you to make judgments on Europeans. Do you hold degrees in history or political or social science? Would anyone in a position of authority in, say, the European Union or in any European country recognize you as an authority on their history, their politics, their government? And until you have shown, not to mention demonstrated, what it is that Europeans have been naive about, how can anyone say that what you claim has any truth to it.
I'm interested in Astronomy, but that does not necessarily qualify me to make apodictic judgments about when something astronomical is going to occur or what its significance is.
