A Twist Of A Vampire’s Fate XXXV

Here We Go Again
VASILE TABARCA’S RESIDENCE
Sighisoara, Romania

“Mother, Valan, get down here.”

Vasile pushed the door close.

Miss. Tabarca ran into the living room. She wiped her hand on her apron.

Valan rushed from the kitchen.

“Man, what’s all the hollering for.”

“Word has it, Dracon, has declared war on the Tremere Clan.”

“What!”

“Man, you heard me, we are going to war.”

“Son, are you sure you heard correctly.”

“Mother, I had doubts in the beginning. Until, I begin to receive calls from several of the clan members. Curiosity got the best of me to see if the information was accurate. I just got off the phone with Salice. It appears he and Dracon had a meeting this morning, and it seems Dracon is convinced Vacome has stepped in his way to claim Naynina.”

Valan looked over at his mother; he cleared his throat.

“I told him that’s absurd. Vacome has several concubines to keep his thirst for blood at bay”

“Until Salice has confined it we’re going to war. I can’t believe that backstabbing bastard has been creeping with Naynina, after he advised me the alliance with her will be good for this clan.” Vasile turned toward his mother. “Mother where is Vacome?”

Miss. Tabarca adverted her eyes from Vasile’s piercing eyes.

“Mother, you know I love you, and I have never disrespected you, therefore, please do not make me read your mind.”

“Slow you roll bro. Mother has nothing to do with you and Vacome’s shit. I suggest you man up, and sort this shit out. In the meantime, I need to get on the horn, and round the troops up.”

Vasile hugged his mother and then stepped back. He looked down into his mother’s eyes.

“Mother, I apologize, you know I would never had read your mind.”

“I know son, and yes, your brother is with this Fairy woman.”

“Dammit!” Excuse me mother.” Vasile palmed his cheeks down in anger.

“Son, I really do believe Vacome is trying to sway this Fairy woman, over to the Tremere Clan. Vacome understands his role as the leader of the clan, and the leader of our pack. Therefore, see how things turn out, instead of poking your chest out in anger. A foolish man makes many mistakes, whereas, a wise man makes more time.”

“Mother, I forewarned Vacome…”

“Stop it, right there, there will be no internal bickering within these walls. I suggest you find out where Vacome and this Fairy woman is located. If what I have heard about this Fairy woman giving Vacome her blood when he was dying, she has Tremere blood running through her veins, there will be time, when she must decide, one woman, and two hearts.”

“So, Naynina was the mysterious woman who gave Vacome his thirst to continue his life.”

“Yes.”

“Hopefully, it will not Vacome’s heart she chooses. I refuse to be in the company of a woman who I had initial designs on, and she gravitates toward my older brother.”

“Baby, it’s all for the good.”

“Tell my emotions that. I will be in the study making some calls.”

Vasile walked away from Valan and his mother.

“Mother this ordeal just hit the fan.”

HOTEL RIO DE JANEIRO
Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro

“Baby we are going to be late for our dinner reservations.”

“I’m almost ready,” Naynina hollered from the bathroom.

Vacome padded his back pants pocket for the jewelry box. He inhaled and then exhaled. He hopes she would agree to marry him. He wanted her in his life for eternal. He would be lost if she decides to leave him and give her heart to that bastard, Dracon.

Naynina walked out the bathroom. She placed the second earring in her ear.

“I think that does it.” She smoothed her dress to her physique. She looked up.

“Wow, you look stunning.”

Vacome met Naynina in the middle of the master bedroom. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her presence into his arms. He kissed her on the lips and then looked down into her eyes.

“Baby, you put any woman to shame.”

“For that, a kiss to my handsome companion.”

Naynina leaned up and kissed Vacome on his lips. She wiped the smear of her lipstick from off his bottom lip.

“Are you ready beautiful.”

“Yes, I am, handsome.”

Vacome dropped his arms from around Naynina’s waist. He stepped back. He lifted Naynina’s hand and kissed it.

“I would be lost without you, Naynina.”

“We are going to the same place, right.”

“Yes, I just want you to know I love you, and I do not want to lose you to anyone.”

“Baby, what is it?”

“Nothing, it’s something that needed to be said from me to you.”

“I love you too.”

“I hope you mean that when the times comes for you to show me.”

“But...”

Vacome leaned down and stole a quick kiss to Naynina’s lips. He grabbed her hand and escorted her out the bedroom.

“Oh, baby wait a minute, I left my purse on the dresser.”

Naynina dropped Vacome’s hand and returned to the bedroom.

Someone knocked on the door.

Vacome looked down at his watch. He walked over to the door and opened it.

Dracon punched Vacome in his face.

Vacome’s body fell backwards. His back landed on the carpet.

Naynina ran from the bedroom into the living room.

“Dracon.”

Vacome kicked Dracon in his stomach.

Dracon bent over.

Vacome got to his feet.

Dracon wrapped his arms around Vacome’s waist and pushed him back.

Both men tussled.

Naynina looked around the spacious living area. Her couch was the first piece of furniture to tumble over.

“Will you please stop…please, you two are destroying this hotel” Naynina walked over to where the men were still brawling. “Stop it, both of you.” She persistently hit Vacome’s back with her purse. “Dammit stop this you two.”

Dracon flung Naynina out the way.

Naynina's head hit the wooden Armoire, causing her to fall over. Her head hit the glass table. She blacked out.

“Naynina.”
