IMPOTENCY OF LIES

TRUTH

I've never forgotten
the lessons I learned from
the Dharma taught by
Tibetan Buddist priests
in my quest for enlightenment
and reality.
I've recently been resurrecting
and meditating on a principle
related to Yin-Yang, the power
and role of opposites:
There is light and darkness,
Day and night,
Good and evil.
Truth and lies.
Etched in my cranium
are the words from a
teacher:
"A lie has never liberated
anyone, it may make it seem
to be so for a moment, but
in the end, will be the sword
that destroys the heart, soul,
spirit, and life. In the beginning
and ending of your days make
sure to buy one lasting treasure--
Buy the truth and never sell it...it
is the way of total liberation."
Oh how this lesson is needed
in the chaotic world, we are spinning
in today.
