Time Traveling

time traveling, we think we are
here right now around our star
corona sizzling spark to spark
currents flowing through the dark

emptiness that's filled with light
the plasma sea, the endless night
surrounding Earth which is our home
until we close our eyes and roam

by following the rhythmic beat
breathing in and out to meet
someone somewhere we don't know
as to another place we go

time traveling without a thought
not alone we have been caught
in a web of sparkling light
in a place that just feels right

where memories begin to stir
of times before we knew we were
here right now around a star
