The sage - take two
a curtain of darkness
covered his life
he sat at sundown
confined to the chains of time
where the light goes
it goes there weeping
it falls between the branches

Shadows disappear
into hypnotic sounds
such a powerful voice
for a man without any words
where the light goes

behind stone curtains
the weight of the world
illumined the night

Where the light goes, it goes there weeping. That is the first thing I've read tonight that placed a hand around my heart palpably. Beautiful work Andy.

Such a wonderful spiritual depth in this poignant poem Andy. "It goes there weeping"...reminded me of how many people forget the deeper meaning of the First Noble Truth of Buddhism...Life is full of suffering...most take it as purely a statement of their own life...but deeper down it means the pain and suffering that we all cause others...the planet, in our daily life...it goes there weeping.
