Sadly, how accurate. Some relationships are entirely based on strategy and maneuvers. Wit and outwit. Those are exhausting especially when it’s your marriage.
I much prefer the ones where no pretense or suspicion are baseline. Very interesting concept and great photo to accompany the write. H🌷

Wow! You have portrayed very interesting metaphor so eloquently. Life is a game of chess. Your write reminds me how every decision or move we make has an impact in our own individual game of life. Just one false move and you could find yourself mated. I really dig the structure and ingenuity of this submission. NICE!!!!
