No Part Of This World

I saw rain fall this morning
And I was grateful
I walked to the bathroom and turned on the water and I was grateful
I heard a scream. ran to the window a bullet laid in a womenís body
She was still alive
I was grateful
I saw a homeless man eating
I was grateful
I saw a women holding her child in the rain the baby was well covered
I was grateful
I was able to leave and not see those things anymore
I was grateful
I woke up this morning and
all I see is cornfields now
Some rabbits and maybe a few bugs
and Iím grateful
Iím sitting on my porch
Watching all that God has giving me
And Iím grateful
I live in this world but Iím no part of it.
