King Inside

My lady I am not a beaten thing. My robe may be worn crown may be cracked, yet I am still a King.  Just like David who slayed a giant with just a rock and sling.  I  heard of a dragon called defeat, yet I never feared such a thing.  I feared falling into the dust. Because  I  never had the fear to rise again.  I  need no army to be my guard.  Because  I  am the might I am the charge.  And  I  am filled with love. And you will never meet a man with a heart so large.     Yes my lady I am brave and bold.  I survived in this jungle bearing the heat and cold.  If you scrape the surface of me. You will find I am not mere stone I am made of gold.  I was not made to toss away.  I was made to cherish love and hold.  I  can penetrate your physical being and touch your soul. And you will find I am the greatest story never told.  I stand firm on my foundations and I  can't  be bought and I  can't be sold.  I am priceless  a spirit that is tried and true and as old as the temples of Isis.  My enemies many times try to break me.  They have joined allegiance against me.  But they can't  take me.  I am not who they say I am. I was created by God so their words can't make me.  On a stallion of royalty  I ride, head held high, sword at my side. Yes my lady my crown may be stained but I wear it with pride.  I am a King and I am who I  am never who you decide.
