gospel
I speak in tongues for you
Carve psalms into my back
Lick me like gospel I could drown you in my holy water, allocate the bread and wine
Take my body to heal you, drink my blood to ease your mind
I guess you could call this worship, or god forsaken congregation
You stare turns me to a pillar of salt, your hands they seem to mystify
Miracles begotten to me from the only god I've ever known
The clay from your hands opened my eyes as if my entire life I had been walking blind
I've never known a love so sanctified
Carve psalms into my back
Lick me like gospel I could drown you in my holy water, allocate the bread and wine
Take my body to heal you, drink my blood to ease your mind
I guess you could call this worship, or god forsaken congregation
You stare turns me to a pillar of salt, your hands they seem to mystify
Miracles begotten to me from the only god I've ever known
The clay from your hands opened my eyes as if my entire life I had been walking blind
I've never known a love so sanctified
