insurmountable

I picked a bunch of
memories, pain, love, and gratitude
found myself barefoot between
mountains, streams and sunsets and
even though it was a road full of
exciting and sometimes soul-destroying moments
I am proud to be able to stand
on the 2020 mountain with a
heart that overflows and that is free
and in the shoes of a woman who
knows nothing is insurmountable
