The Mothering Womb

There’s a place in this world for simple lust
Giving over all to desires
In that telling glance and sense of trust

Leaving baggage in another room
Loved ones' eyes decorate the wall
We act as if we’re bride and groom

In that instant when skin meets skin
In pure desire we become one flesh
And savor the sweet joys of sin

For those moments we are fully known
Having given ourselves completely
But it ends so soon with a quiet moan

Our bodies will soon rest in tombs
But, if there is afterlife
I’ll still think back on this blissful night
When you gave me your mothering womb

Author's Note
Sometimes fate brings complicated lives together through simple lust. Such was the case with this mom who found bliss with a visitor in her bedroom.
