Late Arrival

Roll over in my sleep  
to feel the Reality  
           of dreams  
While this sensation    
of Completion  
Is not what it seems
 
So close to perfection  
only separated  
               by choices  
Pulling at our ears  
with their long~distance    
  voices  
   
 
Erase the shame  
Allow it to leave  
 Embrace this flame  
Allow it to breathe  

It's getting too hot  
I can't continue holding on  
With out getting burned  
way after your gone  
 
   
Right here, Right now  
I'm seizing the Day  
Taking this opportunity  
to go all the way;
Don't regret what I did  
            or  
what should have  
been done  
My choice is with You  
& I've made the right one  
   
 
Retrace where you came  
& always believe  
Lyfe is never the same  
after you leave;
I can't help getting caught  
with out holding on  
       Free-falling for you  
before you are gone  
   
 
Grasping for anything  
that might be a 'Cure'  
Pulling at the air  
for something secure  
Searching for my    
                  emotions  
I stare at the scene;  
     Lost in oblivion  
Do you know what I mean?  
 
 
      Misplace the blame  
before you can breathe  
Replace this shame  
before you reprieve  
      Forget me not!  
You must continue holding on  
to this feeling of warmth  
before the Fire is gone  
   
 
A cool ocean breeze  
Says:  
   Remember me. Please!  
Recall a good memory  
& give it a squeeze;
 
Follow my example  
Empower this force  
to reveal new directions  
& get back on course  
   
 
Embrace the tame  
& allow them to leave  
In case this flame  
         wants to conceive  
Untie the knot  
which keeps you holding on  
Seek what you've sought    
    & continue till you're gone...
