Image for the poem Her Dark Was Deep

Her Dark Was Deep

Her dark was deep
Her eyes were bright
And when she smiled
Rooms filled with light

Her breasts were formed of legends
From the shores of Ivory Coast
Passed down from slave to free
They now hold her future hopes

And so it was my privilege
To be joined as in times of old
Pressing into beauty
As her histories unfold

Bound as one like animals
We were striving to survive
She pulled inside new life from me
Her pelvis was geared for drive

She hammered me like none before
She bounced in pure delight
When I shot my seed she smiled at me
To fuck was perfectly right
