Ripple In The Air

My voice but a tiny ripple in the air
to my Dauphine of ecstasy sung
a breath I remember of silence in the dew
on the Parfait rose and I your Chevalier
beneath the willow's bough-bend
and the red embers of your eyes
glorious the seekers of blue skies
my voice but a tiny ripple in the air
