One In a Million

there she was just walking by
ten thousand before had not caught my eye
one in a million, a trillion maybe
someone I fell for instantly

our eyes met, then she was gone
for something inside me she was the gong
waking me up and letting me know
to do what I'm doing in order to grow

in the universe all around
and inside where I am found
there's no one else who I can be
than who I am now, presently -

there she was and now I know
maybe I'll see her again in the flow
of people passing before my eyes...
expectations beginning to rise

she's one in a million, a trillion maybe
she's someone I fell for instantly
ten thousand before had not caught my eye
then there she was just walking by
