Lonely walks

It's when you're walking alone,
music in your ears,
the world passing you by
is when you feel it.
The emotions you've been hiding,
the ones you don't let yourself feel.
In this moment you crack.
You want to make a phone call
but you don't believe anyone cares.
You do what you do best,
put a smile on,
and say you're good.
Everyone believes you.
Deep down you just know you're a great actor.
Deep down you know people love you.
Love is just hard to accept
even though you want it.
You just don't know how to get it
when you withdraw from the world.
