I Remember

I remember a time before sex , alcohol and responsibility .
I remember being a super hero flying thru the sky as I jumped on the trampoline.
I remember my biggest fear was only the bullies but the escape was going home.
I remember wanting to be a grown up .

I remember the butterfly's in my stomach
I remember feeling like I had something to live for.

Now I remember my regrets , every mistake I made

I remember heartbreak , stress and financial ache

I remember telling myself it's ok I am invincible , everything will work out in the end .

I remember the people who I called friends and I remember watching them them fade away

I remember being excited to what the future will bring

Now ever day is a choir , living is just pain . Now I look forward to when the pain goes away .
