gods.

Perhaps in the days of yore
When men were few
On the globe
It was necessary to have
An almighty god
A god who was  responsible
For Sun and Moon
Or, then, eventually a god
For each
And in huge mythologies it grew.
From Greeks and Romans
To simpler modes like shamans and
Indian lore and the Grand Spirit.
To this day some, as tradition go
But methinks the universe
Is way, way, way too big for only one
Considering that every day
It expands and unfolds,
Way too big
For a single Being
With such a vast universe
To compose.
