Impossible to love
If you don't love yourself first.
Wow. So some are born
Lover boys, gigolos to be
And they are true lovers, you say?
They love themselves...or they
Lust after lust and money, honey?
Ah, but that is looking away from
The subject. Don't stray.
You You You.
What makes YOU tick,
So that your soul can wake
To love and beauty,
That is in you but is
Ever repressed, sadly.

At the very least: IF you do not like - love who and what you are, it is not possible to love someone else.

''boys'' in a way that a team leader might say '' come on boys'' referring to men in his group. I use them also (equal zero term: lover boys or gigolos because their ''deal'' has zero to do with love, but simply to provide sex for ''needy women.............and there are a lot of them out there.
So, away from that, I suppose I should have written things in a different poem because obviously, if you do not like yourself, it is impossible to like somebody else.

When u say boys it gives the reader the assumption of children. Then gigilos etc....WHOA! . just sayin.

Most of the time? Means there has a bit of work to do? I suppose one might ask if you are a very social person or more of a more shy and recluse person?

And that shows, to me , a bit of a problem. Lacking self-confidence could hinder many beautiful possibilities.
