Water Main Break

I'm always curious about little moments that make us sit back and go "how did we survive without this?!" when the water isn't working. or the electric goes out. or heaven forbid, the wifi goes down.

I hope the wait isn't too long. It's the one thing that irks me when we have a power outage here - since we are rural & on a well, no power means no water. When a big storm is coming, we fill the bathtubs for toilet-flushing water. It all sounds very quaint until it stretches on for days....

It's very true, we take many things for granted. But that also gives us time to pause and observe and you've captured this here very nicely.

It was a rude awakening this morning
Translation: bummer dude

It pains when, on a clear Summer day, you see these people wasting tons and tons of gallons of water washing their cars in the driveway, hours.  Then ''washing''  the driveway.  Then spraying the grass  - hot sun, the worst time to do it.  But hey:  do not dare to tell them a word, they'll just say, ''I pay my taxes so fuck you...........''

Then douse you with the hose
Here in America you get shot for those kinds of comments

In Canada as well.  Ok:  certainly not shot. No  2A craziness around here.  Otherwise, same  bunch of moronic idiots everywhere.

Patience is a virtue?  MY FURRY ASS!  I want what I want and I want it RIGHT FUCKING NOW!@!!.
