Man Of The Forest
The man
of the forest
a young child
Mourning
his loss
in Pain
Shock
and Fear
having watched
his Home
his Loved Ones
and everything around
Disappear
Unbearable Sounds
the crackling of the flames
and the Smell
of roasting meat
he cry's Out
in Pain
Hanging from
the Only tree left
Out of Thousands
a Young Child
of a man
of the forest
Hanging
from a dead branch
on a dead tree
on land
that is still
flickering
with flames
Watching Them
Coming
With Deep
Inner Sadness
Watching Them
Coming
To take him Away
to a life time
of Confinement
or the Continuous
Unending
Pain
in a lab
For the Crime
of being
In The Way
of the forest
a young child
Mourning
his loss
in Pain
Shock
and Fear
having watched
his Home
his Loved Ones
and everything around
Disappear
Unbearable Sounds
the crackling of the flames
and the Smell
of roasting meat
he cry's Out
in Pain
Hanging from
the Only tree left
Out of Thousands
a Young Child
of a man
of the forest
Hanging
from a dead branch
on a dead tree
on land
that is still
flickering
with flames
Watching Them
Coming
With Deep
Inner Sadness
Watching Them
Coming
To take him Away
to a life time
of Confinement
or the Continuous
Unending
Pain
in a lab
For the Crime
of being
In The Way
