Life's A Fiction...

I fall in an endless pit with a purple haze.
Fiction and reality entwine before me.
Phantasmagoria fabric placed on my face.
Obscuring the direction I'm taking.
A shroud for the dead before the coffin's closed.
It's a coma-like state.

The lights and voices in the distance cry.
I'm suspended and moving.
Strapped and sedated, I pretend I'm unaware.
My mind is a whirlwind of emotions now
and it's hard to regain control.
Life's a fiction where the protagonist's stuck in limbo...
