Girl From The Hood
Some would say she’s feisty
I’d say misunderstood
Sometimes she can be scary
This girl raised in the hood
Some would say she’s common
She’d be fine with that
She stays lean and sometimes mean
With not an ounce of fat
For a girl raised in the projects
She cleans up mighty good
She likes to spend time with the boys
Because she thinks she should
We get together ‘bout once a week
She keeps me feeling fine
If you get her going she’ll give you blow
And make your rooster shine
