So I think there are certain things that need to be said
Since I have stopped drinking things have become clear
I know your heart is in the right place
There are things in my past I wish I can erase

When it comes to my love life I'm doing fine
I have no complaints I'm not going to sit here and whine
I know you don't want me to be alone
I don't need a guy to be happy

You might that my kids need a dad
My kids do have a dad
Even though one kid is not his he's known her through her whole life
I know you're in a good place

You just want all your friends to be as happy as you are and you're relationship
You also need to understand that people can be happy with just themselves
Now this goes to the guys always complaining that I'm ignoring you
It's not that just get busy

I am a single mom
And I'm okay with that
I need someone to understand that I'm always not going to be around
For right now my life is surrounded by my kids

So please don't worry about me I'm doing fine
