Ode to Johnnie's Tavern
Often,
after class
in the early afternoon
I would take up a stool,
maybe play some pool
or shuffleboard,
and enjoy
a few beers
with the local gang of
"cheers to us and life!"

in Madden*
because I know what is going to happen
and sometimes the players just drop them.
