Flesh
There was a very bright smile
In my dreams and in my car tonight
She's been through more than I
In the past weeks she did some bloody fights
I lift this glass of whiskey
To the roof as we lay down to nap
I love it when you finish our speech
And all the beach folk clap
Flesh
Flesh and bone
In the dark
When we're all alone
First you take a left and at the crossing
You take a left again
When you reach the open field, continue
There you'll meet my friend
She will lead you further to the bus
Where all our people wait
Once you enter you will get instructions
And a pill to take
Flesh
Flesh and bone
In the dark
When we're all alone
We signed to merge together
To fill our own black
We mixed and stirred for hours
A cocktail for our power back
We're flesh, I confess
Flesh and bone
In the dark
When we're all alone
I fall asleep on these sweaty sheets to dream of you
And how we'll meet again one day
To fuck and eat and drink and kiss and never sleep
In my dreams and in my car tonight
She's been through more than I
In the past weeks she did some bloody fights
I lift this glass of whiskey
To the roof as we lay down to nap
I love it when you finish our speech
And all the beach folk clap
Flesh
Flesh and bone
In the dark
When we're all alone
First you take a left and at the crossing
You take a left again
When you reach the open field, continue
There you'll meet my friend
She will lead you further to the bus
Where all our people wait
Once you enter you will get instructions
And a pill to take
Flesh
