When I looked into her eyes

When I looked into her eyes, I knew that she’s the one
I had a calmly face, but my heart began to run
Her eyes were like the starlights
Her face was like the sun
A voice so sweet it can’t be beat
I’ve only just begun
Her hair was like the waves
Which flowed down her back
Giving off a fragrance
Which even angels lack
Her legs were like the pillars
Which held the heavens up
I can’t contain what’s in my brain
My words are giving up
I grab her hand and ask her name
She gives me no reply
I tell her my hearts aflamed
She only batts her eyes
I don’t know where she’s from
Her words I cannot speak
But there is an ancient drum
And that drum is called mystique
It’s not a word or a thought
It’s something few can see
It can’t be sold it can’t be bought
It lives in you and me

Author's Note
This poem was inspired by the fact that I was in love with the Hispanic girl, but she had bad broken English. Despite the fact, I still tried getting with her!
