This is divinity to me today, nomoth. Your enjambments are golden, and your vocabulary softer and not-so-metaphoric as usual. It's a beautiful representation of the inspirational poem to me. I think you've painted death as happy and integrated with the afterlife of life in all it's splendid creation.

thanks so much A.
long walks in the woods and thoughts on Yeats. I know I teetered off from the original.

No; they aren't. However, with poets like you, it makes the days worth it.

This gave me a chill as to how it touches into the feel of my reading of Killing Commendatore, by Haruki Murakami. I suggest picking it up. The intimate and surreal entwined in flesh, in musings and milieu, the gentle touches of detail like careful brushstrokes. Your quill is masterful.

Poetic gold. This reads as if it was written in the 1920s/30s. A remarkable gift you possess. From the ice age to the covid age, we need art more than ever, in all its glories and flaws. Rob

nature you paint in all gentlenes.. amidst & as the breathed emotions, pains, loss, death.. that is only elevatingly liberating as the Bird of Truth in Eternal Flights of Love.. the way you describe the love, loss & how it affects ends the flesh in all lightness & sweetness drenched in Lobve Pure Love .. feels a meditative breeze despite the warring bloodstained battlefields this life from start to go ... deeply drawing~ stirring scribe, different from your lushly unique abstract scapes Nomoth! Best for comp:)

You really painted a picture here. Incredibly evocative, Andrew. It's really beautiful... Your words, and your aesthetic. As per your usual, nicely done 🙏
