Gate keeping us apart

When I see you walking towards the screen, and I look into those eyes of blue, you have no clue just what you mean to me, I have to remind myself that our future is still unseen

I'll never forget the first day we met, the thoughts of you and what l'd love you to do, my heart was about as broken as it could get, but you made me forget about the pain and wish for someone new.

After 3 almost years from that day I decided to email you just to say hi, not really sure of what to really say, I was shocked when I got your replay I won't lie, and so now I'm glad I did cause we wouldn't be an us to this day.

As I know our relationship didn't start like most, and my feelings for you started to grow and my heart started to heal, you never make me feel like I'm unwanted invisible or like a ghost, I now know what we have is truly real.

I know we still have time a little over a year, all we can do is live our lives as we wait, just know I'm still going to love you my dear, as I'll keep on going until the day you can come home and I can pick you up at that unwanted gate.
