FAVORITE TIME OF THE DAY

It's usually early in the morning;
I prepare and enjoy my ritual:
the making of my coffee:
My favorite label is blue;
the blend is perfect like you
As I pour the water into the pot,
I feel my soul pouring out to you;
as the water starts to boil
so do my desires for you;
as the aroma fills the air
I smell the scent of your warm skin;
as I gently sip the first taste
the flavor is always fresh and new
just like your soft lips and kisses.
Taking a deeper drink I savor
the lasting taste in my mouth
that warms my entire body
causing thoughts of your one-
of-a-kind presence in my soul.
I do not rush my beautiful minutes
wanting the drinking of you
to last and last...
let's enjoy our morning connection.
