the trials and the pitfalls
of love grow tiring
to a woman
like me who wants
a love that's true
but all love I find
just makes me blue
I don't ask alot from love
when I let my desires show
I used to believe in love but
I got burned so many times
loved improperly, dismissed,
or treated like a sideshow
so who can blame me
for letting love go?

Dear FM,
Who can blame you? Not I, says me. It feels like a simple math problem doesn't it? He says I love you. You say I love you. Equals love each other. Somehow or other the equation always comes out a negative number on one side and to this day it’s why I suck at math! Oh FM, stay your ground it’s out there for one and all. We just need to locate the same mathematicians. H🌷

I always sucked at math, too! I was just in a mood when I wrote this. It's just hard to take sometimes that I still haven't found what I'm looking for in the way of love. Perhaps one day.... Thanks for your comments and encouragement!

It is when we are able to let love go that it, in time, comes back as REAL. All experiences are but a test of one's desire for real love. Love is more than fantasy, it is real and will defy all frustrations, setbacks, and rejections. So look up, love is on the way (Please excuse my opinion, having been there done that, and thrown the T-shirts away). Hugs and peace. oral
