during fake wars waged  
in poetry recitals on'staged  
---attention getting bids because  
their loyaty was blind enough  
to take them for a ride  
without their knowing  
where you were going  
with this hit parade charade  
 
So many once avatarstruck eyes  
 
now seeing through the disguise  
perpetuated in solo performance  
acts of defaming yourself
