Does It Sound Familiar

Iím always alone
Here in my mind
Your soul my spirit has mined
Your heart is something I canít find

I live only in my dreams
I wish you were here
Your voice is something I canít hear
From the echos of a shell I hold near

I sit where the waves meets the sand
No one around only the sound of the sea
Until the sunsets until I can no longer see
Your memories are like waves crashing on me

Iíll never be able to say goodbye
I hide my tears with invisible mask
Was our life just a unrehearsed masque
Like the last drop from an empty flask
