They say repeating the same action
Over and over expecting
A different result
Is the definition of insanity.
Well, I've grown tired of being crazy.
Lesson learned.
I won't give you another chance.
You won't ever change and I'm not sure
You even can, but I know you're
Not even trying.
Lesson learned.
You almost lost me once and you
Proved me right, that everything
I ever said about you was true.
That there is a difference between
"can't" and "won't".

Maybe once is just a mistake,
But after that it becomes
A conscious decision.

I believe that you do love me
In your very limited capacity,
But I'm not sure you really know
What love is and how it works.
Lesson learned.
If you know what I want and
Still don't do it, if you care for me
At all, then it is nothing more than
Stupidity on your part.
Foolish and unwise.
Lesson learned.
I don't know you at all,
You made sure of that,
But I know you well enough.
Lesson learned.
Loving you has proven to be
A teachable moment and baby
Believe me, learning has occurred.
